Tax Senior Manager
with specialized expertise in the
Consumer Products industry
to join their growing team. Based in New Jersey or New York, this role offers the opportunity to serve as a
trusted advisor to clients
in wholesale, distribution, e-commerce, and manufacturing, while mentoring junior staff and contributing to the growth of the firm’s industry-focused tax practice. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage tax engagements for Consumer Products clients Review federal, state, and local tax filings for corporations and partnerships Advise on complex tax matters such as inventory accounting, COGS, state/local nexus, and multi-state filings Conduct tax research and provide strategic planning opportunities Mentor and manage staff and senior accountants, ensuring deadlines and quality standards Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing tax and compliance needs Collaborate with Partners on business development and client expansion initiatives Stay up to date with tax regulations and industry trends impacting Consumer Products Qualifications
8+ years of public accounting experience, with a focus on tax Significant experience with Consumer Products clients (wholesale, distribution, e-commerce, or manufacturing) Strong technical tax knowledge, leadership, and client relationship skills Compensation:
