Director of Finance
to join a growing Northwest Houston area company. The
Director of Finance
will be responsible for overseeing the company\'s financial operations, reporting, and strategic planning. This role blends hands-on accounting and financial management with leadership of financial strategy, compliance, and resource allocation. The Director of Finance will ensure accurate reporting, manage critical financial processes, and provide guidance to executive leadership. Job Type:

Medical, dental, vision, 401 (k), PTO, and more. Director of Finance Responsibilities: Develop, oversee, and implement the company\'s financial strategy. Manage the preparation and review of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial statements. Provide financial analysis and guidance on business activities, plans, and performance drivers. Oversee accounts receivable processes, including factoring transactions. Manage payroll operations to ensure accuracy and compliance. Lead financial statement reconciliation and closing processes. Manage customer invoices, bills of lading, and supporting documents related to tax credit transactions. Coordinate with outside tax consultants for cost segregation, sales tax refunds, and R&D credits. Oversee facility financing and refinancing activities. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. Develop and maintain risk management strategies, policies, and procedures. Support capital planning and financing initiatives, including debt management. Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and tax consultants. Provide financial reporting and insights to executive leadership and stakeholders. Mentor and oversee accounting staff to ensure accuracy, accountability, and professional development. Other duties as assigned. Director of Finance Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Director of Finance Education and Experience: Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required CPA or MBA preferred Experience with financial statement preparation, payroll, and accounts receivable required Experience working with outside tax consultants and financing transactions required Manufacturing or production industry experience is a plus Experience with tax credit transactions (R&D, cost segregation, sales tax) is a plus Director of Finance
