The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, strategy, and management, coupled with an understanding of the manufacturing and agriculture sectors. Responsibilities
Drive the company’s financial strategy by developing and executing long-term financial plans Serve as a key advisor to the executive team on financial decisions and business strategy Act as the primary financial liaison to the Board of Directors, investment fund representatives, and external stakeholders Prepare and present board materials, financial reports, and performance updates Support investor inquiries, financial due diligence, and periodic evaluations related to reinvestment, divestment, or recapitalization Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial modeling Manage short and long-term cash flow, working capital optimization, and capital structure Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements following GAAP and internal standards Play a key role in evaluating and executing mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, or divestitures Identify and mitigate financial risks and enforce strong internal control systems and financial policies Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team Oversee financial systems and tools to ensure data accuracy, scalability, and integration with HRIS, procurement, and operational platforms Collaborate with leaders across HR, operations, sales, and supply chain to align financial planning with business strategy Support company-wide strategic initiatives by modeling various business scenarios, assessing risks, and advising on the financial implications of new projects, partnerships, or market expansions Develop and maintain detailed financial models to assess investment opportunities, support strategic initiatives, and guide capital allocation decisions Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in the agriculture or food processing industry Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance Experience with mergers and acquisitions, financial due diligence, and valuation modeling Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights Excellent communication skills and the ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with experience in digital transformation initiatives a plus Compensation and benefits
