The Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) has overall responsibility for planning, development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of nursing care delivery, professional development, evidence-based practices and nursing research for clinical programs/divisions to provide safe, high quality clinical care for Baptist Health patients. The ACNO reports to the System Chief Nursing Executive (CNE) and acts on behalf of the CNE in her/his absence as assigned. The ACNO participates with the CNE in strategic planning, goal setting, program development and establishment of outcomes and methods of measurement. This role works within the strategic vision of the CNE and ensures effective coordination of human, fiscal and material resources across all aspects of nursing care delivery. The ACNO collaborates with other nursing and senior management to direct the administration and advancement of patient care services, using data, trends, technology, and an understanding of the organization’s mission, vision and goals to guide planning, organization, leadership, service delivery, performance improvement, and evaluation of nursing standards of performance. Responsibilities

Provide leadership for planning, development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of nursing care delivery and related programs. Promote professional development, evidence-based practice, and nursing research within clinical programs/divisions. Collaborate with the System CNE and senior leadership to align nursing care with organizational goals and outcomes measurement. Direct the administration and advancement of patient care services through data analysis, trend assessment, technology utilization, and strategic planning. Ensure effective coordination of human, fiscal and material resources across nursing care delivery. Qualifications

Minimum Required: Master’s Degree in Nursing or other master-level healthcare-related degree. Two years of senior nurse leadership (ACNO or CNO) experience with demonstrated outcomes preferred. Five years of nursing management and three years of hospital management experience in an acute setting with demonstrated outcomes. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position. Minimum Required: Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing or Compact State Licensure in Nursing required. Details
