The Director of Strategy & Planning will report to the Vice President, Strategy & Business Planning, North America, and play a pivotal role in the development and execution of business strategy across the region. This individual will focus on the delivery of strategic plans and goals through strong planning and program management across all functions in North America. Additionally, this role will also lead the internal organizational change management program to drive achievement and sustainment of the strategic business objectives of Dawn North America. Work Environment & Travel

This is a hybrid position based at our Home Office in Jackson, MI, requiring in-office presence a minimum of 3 days per week, with the ability to flex as needed, and up to 20% travel. To be considered, candidates must reside within a commutable distance of Jackson. Responsibilities

North America Strategic Planning & Execution: Manage the North America business planning process that contributes to the achievement of North America’s annualized strategic sales and operating income targets and ladders with multi-year strategic targets. Oversee prioritized growth and efficiency-driving initiatives for delivery of strategic P&L improvements and long-term business model changes. Act as an internal consultant to shape and develop solutions to key strategic issues and opportunities, design capabilities, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to determine resources, ownership, and alignment to deliver results. Drive & Enhance Organizational Change Management in North America: Promote the use of Dawn's OCM toolkit, improve internal processes and tools, oversee the execution of strategic change initiatives, and lead and coach North America Change Partners. Share best practices and consult with teams to improve change management effectiveness and adoption; lead monthly change partner network meetings. Build a foundation for future strategic shifts in North America: lead planning and execution of research and analysis, partner with Market Research and Insights, develop business scenarios and financial cases, engage in ad-hoc strategy and research projects, and perform other duties as assigned. What It Takes

Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job. A High School Diploma or GED is required Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field is required; Master’s degree/MBA strongly preferred Minimum of 10 years of broad business experience across sales, finance, marketing, or business consulting/planning; minimum of 5 years in strategic and business planning and leading complex cross-functional initiatives; minimum of 5 years of project/program management including budgeting, scheduling, resourcing, and risk management; minimum of 5 years of experience leading people directly or through cross-functional projects Experience in a B2B environment; food industry experience in bakery is highly preferred but not required Professional training in Project Management and Organizational Change Management; certifications in both are preferred Ability to influence and partner with leaders, external partners, and customers Ability to work in a matrixed environment and adapt approaches based on audience Strong analytic and critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and collaboration skills; ability to navigate ambiguity Strong communication and storytelling skills, both verbal and written; ability to translate insights into business opportunities Proven ability to manage large-scale strategic initiatives and prioritize multiple assignments Analytical and data-driven with a track record of using data to measure performance and drive decisions Experience leveraging Gen AI is desired Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Physical Demands & Work Environment
