Overview:
The Triad Hospitalist (full-time, part-time, and/or relief) is responsible for providing exceptional care to Cone Health patients and completing all clinical responsibilities. Responsibilities:
Provides multidisciplinary team coordination services to assigned areas. Mentors Cone Health residents and students as needed. Uses independent judgment in diagnosing and treating patients, formulating treatment plans, and directing the interdisciplinary team (including advanced practice providers) to achieve patient care goals. Models and upholds professional standards, including Medical Staff By-Laws, Service Excellence commitments, practice standards, physician expectations, and professional image standards. Participates in medical audits, quality improvement programs, investigations, peer reviews, and other inquiries related to professional care standards. Engages in continuous improvement and evidence-based practices to enhance healthcare and service outcomes, aiming for the 90th percentile or above. Maintains records in accordance with MCHS policies, laws, and regulations. Contributes to the development of clinical guidelines, procedures, and programs to improve quality and efficiency of care. Shares designated on-call responsibilities with other physicians in the assigned areas as needed. Qualifications:
Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. North Carolina Medical License. North Carolina Drug Enforcement Administration License. Community Information:
