Overview The University of California, San Francisco, Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, is seeking to hire a candidate with expertise in general cardiology to join a rapidly growing clinical cardiology program.

The candidate must be board eligible/board certified (or equivalent) in

Cardiovascular Disease

and have current clinical expertise in outpatient and inpatient cardiology. In addition to being an outstanding clinician the candidate will have demonstrated teaching interest and skills.

Responsibilities

Attend as an attending physician on the inpatient and consult services and provide outpatient general cardiology patient care.

Qualifications

MD (or equivalent) or MD/PhD (or equivalent) or MD/MPH (or equivalent degree).

Board eligible or board certified in

Cardiovascular Disease .

Current clinical expertise in outpatient and inpatient cardiology.

Qualified for appointment at the

Instructor ,

Assistant ,

Associate

or

Full Professor

level.

Demonstrated teaching interest and skills; ability to contribute to the program\'s growth in the outpatient arena and provide world-class service to cardiovascular patients in the Bay Area and beyond.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is

$114,100-$344,400 . This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

Salary and Benefits Salary is determined by the UC salary scales and may include eligibility for additional compensation through the health sciences compensation plan.
