Diagnostic Radiologist
We are actively seeking a Dynamic Diagnostic Radiologist to join our MRI Department at a large health center in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of Geneva, NY. This full-time, direct-hire position aims to balance quality of life and work with flexible work options, including remote or on-site possibilities. Salary:
$470,000.00 - $570,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide onsite or remote weekday coverage from 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Interpret various types of medical imaging, including x-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and basic nuclear medicine. Partake in weekday calls from 5:00 pm–10:00 pm for cross-sectional imaging. Manage weekend calls from 8:00 am-6:00 pm and then provide backup to night service. Maintain high diagnostic accuracy while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide top-quality patient care. Participate in continuous education and research activities to stay abreast of technological advancements in the field. Minimum Position Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology. MD or DO credentials required. Strong proficiency in handling X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and basic NM modalities. Ability to manage a high volume of cases with precision and meticulous attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to interact positively with a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Qualifications: Training or experience in mammography is highly desirable (required for on-site roles). Previous experience in a similar role within a large health center or hospital. Demonstrated involvement in clinical research and peer-reviewed publications. Skills: Expertise in diagnostic imaging with a specialty focus is an asset. Strong technical skills with the ability to adapt to new technologies and software for remote diagnostics. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning. Leadership skills with the capacity to guide and mentor junior staff.
