Responsibilities

Monday - Sunday coverage -- weekdays 7 am - 3 pm, some cases until 5 pm

Weekend shifts 7 am - 7 am with back-up pager coverage

Minimal call burden -- less than 1% chance of being called for back-up

Primarily routine procedures including appendix and ENT cases

Limited pediatric cases -- occasional neonatal pyloromyotomy

No chronic patient management required
