Provide direct patient care in outpatient and inpatient settings as directed by contract, develop treatment plans, and assess patient responses to treatment, ensuring high-quality healthcare services. Offer high-quality care on an on-call basis and in rotation with other physicians to meet patient needs at all times. Investigate new techniques, practices, and equipment to maximize quality and efficiency of healthcare services. Assist in developing and implementing continuous quality improvement programs and participate in multidisciplinary efforts, ensuring services are delivered with compassion and respect. Ensure the application of the hospital's mission, philosophy, policies, and procedures to promote high-quality healthcare and departmental effectiveness. Stay current with the latest trends in the field through seminars, workshops, conferences, and professional affiliations to promote personal and departmental growth. Collaborate with other physicians to ensure high-quality, technologically advanced healthcare services. Participate in educational programs, in-service meetings, and training sessions to share expertise and enhance education and growth for staff and students. Perform other duties as assigned or requested. Qualifications
MD degree Current unrestricted Louisiana Medical License Seniority level
