Job Description
Give anesthesia (numbing medicine) during surgeries for adults and children. Help with anesthesia for brain surgeries, making sure to check the patient’s brain health before and after the surgery. Do spinal anesthesia and local anesthesia as needed during surgeries. Manage breathing and watch the patient's breathing closely during the surgery. Work with doctors and surgical teams to give anesthesia safely and effectively. Keep a close watch on patients throughout their surgery journey (before surgery, during surgery, and after surgery). Use Epic EMR (an electronic medical record system) for all notes and anesthesia records. Follow hospital rules, procedures, and safety guidelines. Work four 10-hour shifts each week. No on-call work is required (shifts are scheduled). Work in a hospital that is a Level II Trauma Center (handles serious injuries). Help with about 50 surgeries each day. Work with a team in different operating rooms as needed. Be ready to help in emergencies and manage breathing, including intubation if necessary. Qualifications
Must be a Board Certified CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) - REQUIRED. Must have an active license in Michigan - REQUIRED. Must have a clean background - REQUIRED. Must have ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications through AHA - REQUIRED. Must have PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification - REQUIRED. Must have at least 1 year of CRNA experience - REQUIRED. $250 rate cap for pay - REQUIRED. Certification Requirements

Must be licensed in Michigan. Additional License Requirements
Must have at least 1 year of CRNA experience; new graduates cannot apply.
