Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Join our team in Lansing, MI, where we are seeking a locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide independent anesthesia coverage at our Endoscopy Center starting in January 2026 through Summer 2026. This role offers a stable weekday schedule with no call responsibilities, and the opportunity to work in a supportive environment during a period of short staffing. As a CRNA in our dedicated endoscopy setting, you will be responsible for managing cases per day, ensuring quality anesthesia care for a diverse patient demographic of adults and geriatrics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide independent anesthesia for endoscopy cases including MAC (Monitored Anesthesia Care).
  • Manage 10-16 cases per day, ensuring safe and effective anesthesia care.
  • Perform EGD and colonoscopy procedures with necessary biopsies.
  • Work collaboratively with the dedicated Endo Center team.
  • Maintain accurate documentation using the EPIC EMR system.
  • Adhere to established protocols and best practices for patient safety.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified in Anesthesia (AANA).
  • Active Michigan State Medical License or the ability to obtain.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
  • Proven experience working autonomously in anesthesia.
  • Reliable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clean malpractice and license history preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Board Certification in Anesthesia (AANA) - Required
  • Active State Medical License in Michigan - Required
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS Certifications - Required
  • Local Providers only (mileage reimbursement only) - Required
