Private Medical has spent the last 20 years creating a new category of concierge medicine — private medicine — by designing a system that honors the relationship between patients, physicians, and each member of the care team. Based in California, New York, and Florida, our physician-led teams work in concert with our Gynecologists, Naturopathic Medicine Doctors, curated local specialists, elite medical centers, and specialists around the world, to provide relationship focused, evidence-based, longitudinal care to our members and their families. Right now we\'re looking for a full time Office Coordinator to join our private concierge medical practice in San Francisco! This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to a high caliber healthcare environment within an administrative scope. Role summary
The role is designed to support the nursing team by ensuring all clinical logistics are happening effectively and efficiently in order to facilitate excellent patient care. The day-to-day duties and responsibilities will vary based on the day’s need. The role is also to support our Senior Site Operations Manager by offering administrative support within the organization. You must be detail-oriented, organized, and reliable to undertake a variety of day-to-day office and clerical tasks. Ability to work in a strong team based environment is essential. You must possess excellent communication skills as well as aptitude in using Apple computers. What will you be doing?
Inventory, stocking and supply management for both clinical and non-clinical needs Medical equipment checks and maintenance Emergency equipment safety checks Troubleshooting medical equipment Autoclave management Helping to maintain a clean and organized environment Performs on-site COVID testing (BioFire) Receive and sort mail Provide basic and accurate information via phone/email Work closely with patient care coordinators and clinical staff Warmly greet and help patients with check in/out Undertake administrative tasks as assigned Assists with the coordination of lab pickups and courier services Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency Maintain office equipment (i.e., ensure copiers are operational and fully stocked with toner, paper, etc.) Monitor office and kitchen supplies inventory and place orders (Amazon, Safeway, Costco, DoorDash) Routinely stock kitchen, restrooms, and office supplies Assist with coordination and planning of office lunches, outings, and events utilizing a predetermined budget Assist in ordering and shipping of birthday cards and holiday gifts Support meeting and conferencing needs What are we looking for?
Education:
high school diploma/GED, Bachelors preferred Experience:
Minimum one (1) year of related experience Excellent communication skills and comfortable working with all team members Must be organized, able to multi-task and follow directions set by the manager Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful and able to handle highly sensitive patient information is a must Experience in customer service is a plus Must be able to lift 15-20 lbs and sit for extended periods of time Can effectively multi-task, shifting back and forth between two or more activities at a time Great professionalism, poise, and sophistication Reliable with a keen eye for attention to detail What\u2019s in it for you?
