Job Details Are you a seasoned Construction Superintendent open to traveling 75% of the time? The company seeks a highly motivated Traveling Superintendent to join a dynamic team. This is a full-time employment opportunity (not a contract position) for a construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and handles projects across different regions.
As a Traveling Superintendent, you will oversee all job site activities from inception to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on job sites, ensuring work aligns with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
Develop and implement comprehensive project schedules, meeting milestones in a timely and efficient manner.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure smooth project execution.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure all activities comply with quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
Manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, and local authorities, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
Provide regular project updates to senior management, including progress, budgets, and risk assessments.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in site management/superintendent roles with a proven track record in supervision and project management.
Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, quality control, and safety protocols.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Proficiency in construction software and technology, including project management tools and CAD software.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently to different job sites.
