Senior Project Manager - Retail Financial Renovations & Infrastructure
What this job involves: As a Senior Project Manager at JLL, you will lead projects and deliver exceptional results for our clients through an innovative approach, collaborative mindset and commitment to success. You will manage Retail Financial sector projects including renovations, branch/cafe new builds, and facility infrastructure upgrades, from inception to completion while guiding project teams. You will build and maintain strong client relationships, understand their goals and objectives, and champion JLL's values of collaboration, inclusivity, and belonging while contributing to our mission of delivering world-class project management services that exceed client expectations. What your day-to-day will look like
Support client and JLL management on multiple projects and assignments Develop scope and schedule for assigned projects Manage and oversee all aspects of projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution and turnover Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including Architects, Engineers, General Contractors and Owner Vendors Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential risk surrounding project, logistical challenges, budget, and scope Prepare/update project status reports, review/approve invoices, update tracking systems, and maintain documents from due diligence through financial close out Provide guidance to project teams, empowering them to thrive and excel Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their goals and objectives Understand technical requirements for construction and renovation projects including architectural, MEP, civil, furniture and low voltage drawings Understand after hour construction activities while keeping the branch open for customers during business hours Required Qualifications
7+ years project management experience in construction/construction management Proficient in project scheduling software with budget management and cost control experience Risk assessment and mitigation strategies experience Quality assurance and safety management protocols knowledge Strong team player with experience managing cross-functional teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills Stakeholder management and client relationship building abilities Critical thinking and decision-making under pressure capabilities Data analysis and reporting capabilities Understanding of permit and regulatory approval processes including after hour permits Flexibility for 25-50% travel depending on project portfolio with ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field PMP (Project Management Professional) certification Preferred experience with branch renovations, bank/cafe build-outs, and financial facility infrastructure Understanding of banking operational workflows and security requirements (cameras, alarms, vault systems) Familiarity with ADA compliance in financial facilities Experience with technology infrastructure (ATMs, teller systems, network requirements) Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements Experience with historic building renovations and local authorities having jurisdiction Process improvement and optimization experience Strategic planning and forecasting capabilities Location
Multiple markets (travel required) Work Shift
25-50% travel depending on project portfolio; flexibility for extended site visits during critical project phases; understanding of after hour construction activities required Salary/Comp
