10-15 patients per day (mix of new patients and follow-up). Hospitalist does admissions. On average 2-7 new consults per day Scope:
bread and butter NeuroHospitalist work: rounding, new consults, follow up (must do EEGs). No APP supervision required. EEGs are done 24/7; rarely one is done at night, but there are 1-2 per week (30-min routine EEG). No Epilepsy monitoring. Average of 2-4 EEGs per day. Not responsible for running codes. EMR:

Level 2 Trauma Center - Primary Stroke Center Group/support:
1-2 Neuro providers on hand for backup Responsibilities
Rounding, new consults, and follow-up for NeuroHospitalist duties Perform EEGs (routine, 30 minutes) and manage general neuro cases as assigned Coordinate patient care with hospital teams; no epilepsy monitoring or code running responsibilities Qualifications
Board Certified with Oklahoma or IMLC Compact license
