The Department of Radiology at Tufts Medical Center, affiliated with Tufts University School of Medicine, seeks a dedicated Program Director (PD) to oversee the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program. About the Department

Located in downtown Boston, our department offers high-level academic radiology services with a resident-centered curriculum. Our residents gain diverse experiences across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings, including trauma, stroke, transplant, and cancer imaging. We are a Level-I trauma center with expanding transplant and advanced cardiac imaging services, and a strong neuroradiology program with state-of-the-art MRI. Our department also provides comprehensive training in Chest, Abdominal, MSK, Breast, and Nuclear Medicine imaging, including rotations at Boston Children’s Hospital. We hold ACGME continued accreditation and offer ESIR pathways and two fellowship programs in MRI and Emergency & Trauma Radiology. Position Details

The PD manages the residency program, ensuring compliance with ACGME standards and maintaining a high-quality training environment for 22 residents. Key responsibilities include: Developing and updating the educational curriculum Supervising residents on quality improvement projects Ensuring resident wellness and engagement Leading recruitment and interview processes for residency matches Overseeing program evaluation, accreditation, and continuous improvement with GME support Collaborating with faculty and leadership to foster a collegial learning environment The PD is allocated dedicated academic time and encouraged to participate in faculty development through radiological and educational societies. Qualifications

Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) ABR Board Certified and practicing radiologist Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts At least 3 years of experience in academic radiology education, with involvement in ACGME-accredited residency programs Familiarity with ACGME accreditation and GME processes Excellent communication and management skills Application Instructions
