Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Job with Trinity Health in Boise/Nampa, ID
Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) offers an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join an established practice in Nampa, Idaho. SAMG, a multispecialty group with over 650 providers, seeks an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician committed to a team approach to patient care in a significantly underserved community. This role is ideal for a physician interested in a rural-style practice supported by a large health system and a well-organized group practice. The practice includes outpatient clinics in a new medical office building and the Birkeland Maternity Center, a 20-bed LDR unit with a spa-like atmosphere, both located on the campus of Saint Alphonsus Medical Center - Nampa, a newly built 100-bed community hospital supported by a network of primary and specialty care clinics. Support services include Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, a Level II NICU, 24/7 CRNA Anesthesia, Emergency Department, and resources from the SAMG network of 74 clinics, along with larger system resources including Boise OB-GYN practice and advanced surgical technology like da Vinci XI & SI at the Boise campus. The full-time schedule involves a traditional clinic with a minimum of 32 patient contact hours per week, plus rounding and call. Call duties are shared equally among OB-GYNs, approximately 1:6. Requirements include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree, successful completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology, and board certification through ABOG or AOBOG (or within 3 years of employment). Candidates must also be able to obtain medical licensure in Idaho and Oregon and privileges at SAMC - Nampa and other hospitals, along with valid DEA and controlled substance registration.
