is seeking employment of a Neuro-Ophthalmologist for employment on Long Island. The candidate will be a member of the full time faculty at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. The physician should have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in ophthalmology and be board certified or board eligible. They also should have completed an AUPO-FCC compliant fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology. The candidate should have excellent clinical abilities, and outstanding interpersonal skills. The physician must be able to work within a team structure and be available to participate in hospital on call responsibilities. The faculty member will be expected to participate in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows. Department of Ophthalmology: The Department of Ophthalmology brings together the resources of Northwell Health and the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell to provide state-of-the-art care while contributing to advances in technology, education and research. Our department consists of 44 full time faculty, 16 Optometrists, and over 300 community based comprehensive and specialty ophthalmologists. Why choose us? Northwell Health
