Overview
The Northwell Health Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine seeks a Director for the Medical ICU at South Shore University Hospital. Fellowship training, Board Certification in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, and at least 5 years of experience are required. The Director will provide clinical, educational, and administrative leadership for our MICU and receive an academic appointment at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra-Northwell. Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership and stewardship of the Medical ICU. Lead educational programs for medical students, residents, and fellows. Serve as administrator and advocate for ICU resources and continuous quality improvement. Collaborate with 24/7 eICU, trauma, cardiothoracic, and neuro services. Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Minimum 5 years of experience in an ICU setting. Strong commitment to medical student and resident education. Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. Benefits
