Job Description
West Coast Kidney Institute – West Bay Division , a nephrology practice serving San Francisco and San Mateo counties in California, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Nephrologist to join us in 2026. We are a thriving, collaborative group guided by esprit de corps. Senior physicians mentor and support junior physicians, and everybody helps each other during periods of increased clinical demand, ensuring no one feels unsupported. We offer: Practice growth of 25% over the past three years A commitment to clinical excellence, demonstrated by 90th percentile rankings in optimal starts and home dialysis prevalence Opportunities in interventional nephrology Compensation and Benefits: Graduated pay scale – $270,000 in year 1, with a 7% annual increase reaching $354,000 in year 5 Five-year full partnership track with equal income distribution, historically exceeding $550,000 Two-year junior partnership track with full voting rights Paid time off: 4 weeks annually in years 1-5, increasing to 6 ½ weeks as a full partner Joint venture and investment opportunities shared equally Schedule: Five-day workweeks in years 1 and 2, transitioning to 4 ½-day workweeks from year 3 onward We are a founding member of Panoramic Health, the nation’s largest integrated nephrology group with 800 providers across 19 states. This role offers a salary of $270,000 in year 1.
