Head of Product & Delivery at Superformula - We're hiring! The Technical Product Manager for Web and Mobile Platforms partners with engineering leaders to provide foundational technology and governance for consumer websites and mobile apps. The platforms enable teams to efficiently create and operate features with consistent design and performance, resulting in high-quality overall experiences. The Technical Product Manager leads the definition of outcomes, initiatives, and processes that support the internal developer community, end user experience, and business priorities. They champion the adoption of platform capabilities and seek alignment and synergy between platforms. They must have sufficient knowledge of relevant technologies to define meaningful acceptance criteria and understand how technical decisions impact experience outcomes.

Job requirements Responsibilities

Understand platform users’ and stakeholders’ needs. Assess platforms’ ability to meet those needs and establish ongoing assessment. Represent those needs in product planning and governance processes.

Partner with platform engineering leaders to define desired outcomes and strategy, then initiatives and processes to achieve those outcomes.

Create and maintain platform team roadmaps. Evaluate potential work’s value and priority. Report progress and status to stakeholders. Show how the teams’ work connects to desired outcomes.

Define user stories and acceptance criteria that are specific about outcomes without defining the engineering solution.

Collaborate with platform engineering leaders to create and lead governance processes that uphold platform quality and requirements, and promote adoption among feature teams.

Required skills and experience

Significant knowledge of current technologies and practices for creating, deploying, and operating websites and mobile apps.

Experience with common product management practices.

Experience working within agile product teams to build customer-facing software.

Proven success translating software user and stakeholder needs into relevant outcomes and development scope.

Proven success achieving outcomes through indirect influence and building consensus.

Preferred skills and experience

Experience with e-commerce websites and/or mobile apps.

Experience with major public cloud providers, content delivery networks, web and app analytics tools.

Experience with mobile app engineering teams and platforms (Apple and Google app stores).

Experience with authentication and identity management systems, e.g., Okta, Cognito.

Experience in the hospitality or travel industries.
