Per Diem OBGYN Hospitalist Opportunity in Rowlett, TX!
Responsibilities Pediatrix Medical Group
partners with Baylor Scott & White Lakepoint Medical Center to provide OBGYN hospitalist services to the suburban Dallas community. We have an exciting opportunity for a per diem OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our team. Enjoy flexible working hours while making a meaningful impact on women's health.
Responsibilities include: OB triage, admissions, attending deliveries, inpatient care, seeing unassigned patients, private call coverage, covering the OB floor, ER consults for GYN emergencies, surgical assists at cesarean sections, fetal monitoring, and emergency response during labor and delivery.
Shifts are 24 hours in-house.
Subspecialty coverage includes:
Collaborate with in-house neonatologists and NNPs in a Level III NICU with 1,700 deliveries annually.
Maternal-fetal medicine specialists available for high-risk pregnancies.
Anesthesiology services available 24/7.
Qualifications
Active Texas license or active IMLC preferred.
Board Certification in OB/GYN with recent clinical experience required.
Benefits and Compensation Pediatrix covers travel expenses (round-trip flight, rental car or mileage, and lodging) for those residing outside a commutable distance. Malpractice insurance is also covered for this W-2 per diem position.
