As a valued member of our healthcare team, the Telehospitalist APP will be a part of the Section of Hospital Medicine at AHWFB. The Telehospitalist APP will be responsible for patient care through the Hospitalist @ Home program and other innovative telemedicine that comes through this program. The Hospitalist @ Home program provides virtual acute care to patients and is supported by paramedics, nurse navigators and other ancillary staff. The Telehospitalist APP will be working closely with Telehospitalist MD. Responsibilities include: Using medical decision-making skills to determine appropriate patient care plan. Collaborates with medical team when needed for effective team-based care. Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries of the human internal organs. Examine patients (virtually). Conduct/order diagnostic tests. Analyze the results and prescribe indicated treatment therapies, including medications and physical therapies. Consult with other physicians, when needed. Assist in patient education and goal setting. Procedural skills per department or practice guidelines. Uphold AHWFB missions, values, and cultural commitment. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein. The clinician functions under the regulatory mandate from their respective licensing organization (North Carolina Medical Board or North Carolina Board of Nursing) with departmental specific credentialing from the institution. Physician Assistant (PA) Requirements

Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program; Master\'s Degree preferred Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License, Certified by NCCPA Minimum of two years of hospitalist experience Outpatient experience also a plus Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration is required to start Nurse Practitioner (NP) Requirements

Graduation from accredited Nurse Practitioner Master\'s Program, Master\'s degree or higher required Current North Carolina Board of Nursing Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license Board certified as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) by AANP or ANCC Minimum of two years of hospitalist experience Outpatient experience also a plus Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration is required to start Pay Range
