Position Summary/Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist is responsible for delivering high-quality rehabilitation services, focusing on patient care and recovery. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
Implementing therapy interventions to improve mobility, function, and independence.
Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
Providing supervision and guidance to therapy assistants and students.
Ensuring compliance with documentation, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Educating patients and families on treatment goals and rehabilitation strategies.
Participating in facility meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and survey preparedness.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (or recognized foreign equivalent) in Physical Therapy.
Current and valid PT license/certification.
Experience working with adult/geriatric populations.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as patient transfers, equipment handling, and extended periods of standing/walking.
