Overview
Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) operator of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Van Nuys Airport (VNY), and Palmdale Land Holdings (PMD) is seeking a visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy of this globally significant enterprise. With LAX serving more than 75 million passengers annually, a $30 billion capital improvement program in progress, and the 2028 Olympic Games on the horizon, LAWA is at a pivotal moment of growth and transformation. The CFO will have a role in financing next-generation facilities, modernizing systems with an Oracle Cloud ERP implementation, and ensuring financial resiliency. The ideal candidate will be a financial architect experienced in large, complex public debt issuance, a strategic partner to the executive team, a modernizer driving data-driven decision-making, and a people leader inspiring a 139-person finance team. Provide strategic leadership of LAWA\'s financial planning, capital structure, and treasury activities to support the agency\'s growth and modernization initiatives. Oversee financing activities, including debt issuance and debt management for multibillion-dollar capital programs. Lead the implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP and related financial systems modernization efforts. Partner with executive leadership to drive data-driven decision-making and financial resiliency across the organization. Manage and develop the 139-person finance team, fostering a high-performance, compliant, and service-oriented culture. Qualifications
Proven success in capital markets and enterprise-level financial planning. Experience in large, visible, and complex organizations. Strong knowledge of public debt issuance and debt management. Ability to guide bond strategies and innovative funding models for multibillion-dollar capital programs. Capability to lead the implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP. Experience in airport or large-scale public sector finance (preferred).
