Physician (FT) Nocturnist : A Hospitalist Career Tailored for Growth, Balance, and Scenic Adventures! Nestled near Dartmouth College, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) combines the allure of a close-knit community with the vibrancy of a renowned academic institution, making it an ideal place to call home. As New Hampshire’s only academic medical center, DHMC serves as a pivotal healthcare hub for the region and includes New Hampshire's only Level 1 trauma center and its only air ambulance service, as well as the Dartmouth Cancer Center, one of only 41 National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the nation. As an academic health system, Dartmouth Health (DH) provides access to specialists in almost every area of medicine, as well as world-class research with the Audrey and Theodor Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Night shift Hospitalist at DH Lebanon campus, with possible rotations at system member community hospitals. 140 nights per year for full-time position, with flexibility options. Base salary $315K+, academic bonus structure, CME, and relocation assistance. Extensive onboarding and orientation for smooth integration. Dedicated daytime physician coverage. Closed ICU managed by intensivists and specialists. Faculty appointment recommendation at The Geisel School of Medicine. Moonlighting and research opportunities.
