OB Hospitalist - per diem

Jupiter Medical Center . This role is for a physician who wants to practice through providing compassionate, patient centered care. Patients are seen in the office and hospital rounding is required. Responsibilities
Maintenance of timely, accurate and detailed medical records using ECW, the Medical Center’s office based EMR Prescribes medication or therapy when necessary Recommends lifestyle changes as appropriate to improve quality of life Explains all medical procedures thoroughly Explains test results and provides patients with plan of care details Consults with other doctors as appropriate about patient’s specific needs Participates in tumor boards and multi-disciplinary clinics Serves on hospital Medical Staff and related committees when requested Seeks to improve patient satisfaction scores and team member goals Participates in business development and marketing activities to grow the business Demonstrates understanding of physician practice environment Exhibits excellent communication skills at all levels Ability to work in a fast-paced environment This job can be physically demanding at times requiring stooping, sitting, standing, and walking for long periods of time. The team member will need to frequently assist lifting patients and heavy equipment. Must be able to work in a stressful environment, work independently, make sound decisions, be detail oriented, alert, and self-motivated. Capability to push/pull up to 40lbs, and carry and lift up to 50lbs. Qualifications
Threshold Requirements Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, in-service and health requirements including attendance at new employee orientation TB/PPD Surveillance Program Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s) Seniority level
