Lee Health is recruiting physicians (MD or DO) to work in our new and growing Hospital at Home Program. Join our successful, burgeoning Hospital at Home team and become a part of the future of healthcare delivery. We are a tight knit team that seeks to use this care pathway to deliver improved patient satisfaction, decreased mortality, and decreased readmissions. Additionally, we strategically integrate emerging technologies and innovative approaches into our practice. This position is a 7on/7off schedule that will work 50% of the scheduled shifts as an Inpatient Hospitalist in one of our acute care facilities and the other 50% providing patient care for our Hospital at Home patients. Hospitalists do not perform procedures, intubate or run codes. Acute care rounds do include medical management of ICU patients with direct involvement and collaboration with a critical care physician in our semi-closed critical care model. Responsibilities
Work a 7on/7off schedule, alternating between Inpatient Hospitalist duties in an acute care facility and Hospital at Home patient care. Provide medical management for ICU patients during acute care rounds in collaboration with a critical care physician within a semi-closed model. Adhere to hospital policies and participate in interdisciplinary rounds to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Ability to obtain an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Florida and DEA. Minimum 3 years experience working in Hospitalist Medicine. Current BLS Certification. Benefits
