Hospitalist/Hospital at Home

Lee Health is recruiting physicians (MD or DO) to work in our new and growing Hospital at Home Program. Additionally, we strategically integrate emerging technologies and innovative approaches into our practice. This position offers a 7on/7off schedule, with 50% of shifts as an Inpatient Hospitalist in one of our acute care facilities and the other 50% providing care for our Hospital at Home patients. Hospitalists do not perform procedures, intubate, or run codes. Acute care rounds include medical management of ICU patients, with direct involvement and collaboration with a critical care physician in our semi-closed critical care model. Candidate Qualifications: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Ability to obtain an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Florida and DEA registration. Minimum of 3 years of experience working in Hospitalist Medicine. Current BLS Certification. Benefits: Competitive compensation and benefits package. Malpractice insurance with tail coverage.
