The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks a board-certified/eligible laborist to join our team, with an academic appointment at GWU. Our services include: 1,800 annual births Level 3 Neonatal ICU Full GYN Oncology and Maternal Fetal Medicine services 24/7 anesthesia support Comprehensive prenatal and postnatal care Laborist program supporting labor and delivery Laborist Responsibilities
Provide inpatient coverage for Labor and Delivery and OB triage Consult for postpartum and emergency departments Manage labor floor for low and high-risk pregnancies Perform vaginal and operative deliveries, including cesarean sections Work scheduled shifts of 12 to 24 hours Teach and supervise OB/GYN residents in a respected ACGME program Community and Benefits
