Virginia Mason is seeking a

BE/BC General Neurologist . Applicants with subspecialty interests are welcome to apply. Responsibilities

The Outpatient Neurology Department at Virginia Mason comprises 11 Neurologists who treat a wide spectrum of neurologic diseases. As part of the Neurosciences Institute, we integrate care and are co-located with neurosurgery, neuropsychology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and the inpatient neuro-hospitalist service. We foster a collegial and enjoyable work environment, featuring bi-monthly journal clubs, neuro-radiology and neurovascular conferences, a neuro-oncology tumor board, and research collaborations with the Benaroya Research Institute. Our hospital serves as a teaching facility with Internal Medicine residents and a partnership with the University of Washington, involving medical students at our downtown location. Resources include a PhD research program manager, clinical pharmacist, RN case management, and a social worker. The position is outpatient call only, based at our downtown Seattle campus. Call duties are shared among all Neurologists for outpatient care. Qualifications

BE/BC in Neurology Fellowship training in EEG, EMG, or other subspecialties is welcomed Ability to obtain a medical license in Washington State Ability to acquire DEA registration with full prescriptive authority BLS certification required About Virginia Mason Franciscan Health
