Virginia Mason is seeking a
BE/BC Neurologist
with fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology. Neuromuscular expertise would be a bonus. Responsibilities
The Outpatient Neurology Department at Virginia Mason includes 11 Neurologists caring for a broad spectrum of neurologic diseases. As part of the Neurosciences Institute, we integrate care with neurosurgery, neuropsychology, neuro-physical medicine and rehabilitation, and inpatient neuro-hospitalist services. We foster a collegial environment with activities such as bi-monthly journal club, neuro-radiology conference, neurovascular conference, neuro-oncology tumor board, and research collaborations with the Benaroya Research Institute. Our hospital serves as a teaching facility with Internal Medicine residents and a partnership with the University of Washington, involving medical students. Resources include a PhD research program manager, clinical pharmacist, RN case management, and a social worker. This position is outpatient call only, shared among all Neurologists. Qualifications
BE/BC in Neurology Fellowship training in Neurophysiology or Neuromuscular preferred Ability to obtain a medical license in Washington State Ability to obtain DEA license with prescriptive authority Proficiency in reading EMG or EEG BLS certification required About Virginia Mason Franciscan Health
