The Medical University of South Carolina and MUSC Health are seeking an outstanding physician to establish a new Family Medicine Residency Program in Camden, SC, starting in 2028 with 8 residents. The Program Director will develop the curriculum, mentor residents, and oversee program operations, including supervision and evaluation in line with ACGME standards. Responsibilities
Develop and grow the residency program adhering to ACGME accreditation standards. Ensure compliance with MUSC-Regional Network policies. Conduct didactic and clinical teaching of residents. Provide patient care within the faculty practice, including call coverage. Participate in quality improvement, research, and collaborative activities. Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited Family Medicine residency. Board certification by ABFM or AOBFP. Unrestricted SC medical license and DEA registration. Significant clinical experience with diverse patient populations. Minimum 3 years of leadership experience. Preferred Qualifications
Regional or national leadership experience. Scholarly activity and research accomplishments. Compensation & Benefits
