Overview
Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Phoenix is actively recruiting a full-time Interventional Radiologist to join our growing team. The candidate should have training and experience in Interventional Oncology and an interest in advancing the field. Candidates who have demonstrated leadership qualities and a history of program development are highly preferred. Qualified candidates are required to be ABR certified/eligible in Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology.
Responsibilities
Provide Interventional Radiology services with 100% IR effort.
Participate in an outpatient clinic with support staff and in multidisciplinary tumor boards and conferences.
Collaborate with a team of radiologists and interface closely with the multi-disciplinary cancer program.
Engage in research, service, and educational activities as part of the department’s missions.
Participate in academic activities and pursue adjunct appointments as eligible with MD Anderson and the University of Arizona, College of Medicine.
Internal diagnostic moonlighting opportunities are available if desired.
Qualifications
ABR board certification or eligibility in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology.
Training and experience in Interventional Oncology.
Leadership qualities and a history of program development are highly preferred.
