With a renowned reputation for pulmonary care and decades of experience in ventilator weaning, we provide unparalleled quality in short-term rehabilitation therapy and long-term skilled nursing services. At Carter, we prioritize patient‑centered care and clinical excellence across the continuum of long‑term acute and skilled nursing care.
Responsibilities As a Nocturnist at Henry J. Carter, you will:
Demonstrate a commitment to community health, evidence‑based practice, academic medicine, and patient‑centered care.
Adhere to applicable regulations for physician services and medical management.
Initiate referrals for consult and specialty services as needed.
Provide direct clinical services, including primary care and acute illness management, adhering to established protocols and evidence‑based standards.
Facilitate emergency and planned discharges to acute hospitals or medical treatment facilities.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of medical records, orders, and documentation.
Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible within 5 years post residency required; Geriatrics preferred.
Passion for patient care and clinical excellence.
