Overview We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 96-day locum tenens assignment in Hawaii. This opportunity begins on Jan 8, 2026, with clinic hours Thursday through Saturday, 8am - 5pm, call coverage extending through the evening, and a 24-hour call on Sundays. The role involves comprehensive patient care including routine exams, acute care, and chronic disease management in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

Conduct routine exams and manage acute care situations

Oversee chronic disease management

Provide treatment for skin issues and perform stitches

Administer breathing treatments

Stabilize patients and coordinate transport to the nearest ER

Manage medication dispensary

Qualifications

Must be ABFM Board Certified

Required licenses: BLS, ACLS, DEA, PALS

Must have a current Covid vaccination and a 2-step TB test

Experience in seeing patients of all ages required

EMR System Used: Athenahealth
