The Franklin Square Neonatal unit is a Level III facility equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology and staffed by highly trained, compassionate caregivers. With over 25 years of experience caring for babies who are born prematurely or become ill after birth, our consistently high patient satisfaction rates reflect our philosophy that a baby’s successful journey from critical care to home involves the entire family. The quality and experience of the multidisciplinary team members are reflected in our outstanding outcomes as reported by the Vermont Oxford Network.
Position We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established and well-staffed NICU. Please apply if you are ready to become an integral and committed part of a team of 5 APPs and 4 Neonatologists that take care of an average of 300 NICU admissions every year. NICU experience as an independent provider is required for this PRN position. Physician Assistants will only be considered if they have completed a Neonatology Fellowship and Nurse Practitioners if they have completed their training as a Neonatal NP.
This is an hourly PRN position.
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Training - Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
PA: Completed Neonatology Fellowship
NP: Completed training as a Neonatal NP
Experience
License/Certification/Registration
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills preferred.
