Hospice Chaplain & Bereavement Coordinator (Per Diem/Part-Time) at Health Link Home Health and Hospice Agency. Compassionate and skilled Chaplain/Bereavement Coordinator to join our hospice team. Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and families navigating the end-of-life journey. Responsibilities
Provide spiritual guidance and emotional support to patients and families of diverse backgrounds. Offer bereavement counseling to loved ones before and after a patient’s passing. Collaborate within an interdisciplinary hospice team to deliver holistic care. Help individuals and families navigate grief, loss, and end-of-life transitions with compassion. Qualifications
Degree or certification from an accredited seminary or school of theology (BD, MDiv, or equivalent) OR appropriate certification in hospital/pastoral ministry. Experience supporting end-of-life care, bereavement, or hospice patients (preferred). Comfort working in an interfaith setting; care to individuals of all spiritual backgrounds. Knowledge of grief counseling, bereavement support, and hospice philosophy. Team-oriented mindset; ability to collaborate with medical and support staff. Why Join Health Link?
