The Division of Hematology-Oncology at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital is seeking highly motivated and skilled physicians to join our team in providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of hematology and oncology. We have part-time clinical opportunities available in the following areas. Responsibilities
Hematology Outpatient Clinic: Provide specialized care for patients with hematologic disorders, including benign and malignant conditions. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver personalized treatment plans. Panels will consist of new and follow-up patients. Inpatient Consult Service (Hematology and/or Oncology): Provide expert consultation for hospitalized patients with complex hematologic and oncologic conditions. Partner with primary teams, specialists, and hospital staff to ensure timely and accurate diagnosis, management, and coordination of care. Involvement in teaching and mentoring trainees, including fellows and residents. Hematology e-Referral Program: Deliver virtual consultations for hematologic cases referred from across the San Francisco Health Network. Provide rapid, high-quality recommendations and facilitate streamlined care for patients while collaborating with referring providers. Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Must be Board Certified in Oncology and/or Hematology through an accredited board, and in possession of the legal requirements for the practice of medicine in California as determined by the California Medical Board. DEA License Demonstrated excellence and commitment to patient-centered care Deep commitment to serving vulnerable populations in a safety-net setting Strong teamwork, clinical judgment, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish or Cantonese Prior experience in safety-net, public, or resource-limited health systems Familiar with EPIC License/Certification
