You will treat adults with a wide spectrum of psychiatric illnesses, with a stable, collegial multi-disciplinary team inclusive of Psychologists, APRNs, Social Workers, and Psychology, Social Work, and APRN students. Seeking a Psychiatrist with strong leadership skills and a minimum of five years of experience to become Medical Director of a locked 17-bed adult inpatient unit. Roughly one-third of patients have psychotic disorders, the rest have mood disorders; and about half of the patients also have a substance abuse disorder. Call will be just 1:5. The beautiful coastal location provides access to Boston and New York, as well as great schools and a welcoming community.
