The department handles a wide variety of pediatric cases with robust subspecialty support, excellent teaching opportunities, and a high quality of life in a vibrant city. Responsibilities
Provide high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients in a high-volume setting (55,000 annual visits) Collaborate with subspecialty teams including PICU, CVICU, NICU, and hospitalists to manage complex cases Work with a support team including child life specialists and pediatric social workers in the ER Engage in bedside teaching and supervision of Pediatric, Emergency Medicine, and Family Practice residents from six programs Participate in training and didactic sessions for Pediatric ER fellows if desired Benefit from full scribe coverage to optimize patient care and documentation Work fair, balanced shifts with the potential for overtime if desired Join a physician-led team with strong compensation, benefits, and institutional support Experience a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with a rich mix of pathology and patient acuity Qualifications
Experience level: Accepting fellowship-trained PEM physicians (fresh graduates and experienced candidates welcome) Permanent, full-time position requiring residency within the immediate local area; relocation may be required Not accepting Locums candidates Not accepting visa candidates Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine – REQUIRED Fellowship trained in Pediatric Emergency Medicine – REQUIRED Nevada Medical License or eligibility to obtain – REQUIRED Clean malpractice and medical license history – HIGHLY PREFERRED Relocation consideration and visa requirements noted in Additional Submission Details Compensation & Benefits
