Overview
Pediatrix is seeking an awesome Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship-trained physician to join our team practicing in a new state-of-the-art 30-bed pediatric Emergency Department at Sunrise Children's Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. Wide mix of patient acuity! Responsibilities
Provide pediatric emergency medicine care in a high-volume ED (volumes approaching 55K). Faculty involvement with Peds, EM, and FP residents from six programs; hosting site for Pediatric ER Fellows; opportunity to teach as much or as little as desired. Full scribe coverage; practitioner staffing is well balanced; combination of 9-hour and 10-hour shifts; full-time position at 1560 hours annually; flexible coverage hours (able to flex up and down). Collaborate with an experienced Medical Director and associate medical director to optimize scheduling. Potential consideration for a Residency Director position. Join a team with strong subspecialty coverage (including Neurosurgery) and a robust PICU, CVICU, NICU, and Hospitalist program run by Pediatrix. Contribute to and participate in a strong ER presence for child life and pediatric social work. Qualifications
At least 1 year of current Pediatric Emergency Medicine work experience is required. Must be able to provide at interview the last 12 months’ worth of case logs from a hospital setting. Position is permanent, full-time; residency must be within the immediate local area; relocation may be required. Accepting experienced and new-graduate candidates through 2025 (Board Eligible within 5 years of eligibility and working toward Board Certification). Not open to commuters or those seeking secondary employment. Not accepting Locums candidates or candidates with lapsed Board Certification who need to obtain it again. Not accepting visa candidates. Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $250K to low/mid $300K, depending on training and experience. Health Insurance including prescription drugs; Dental; Vision; Life Insurance; Short- and Long-Term disability options.
