Senior Manager, Tech Bus Dev, AIS - Supply Chain at Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Our work involves solving complex global supply chain challenges, and we are looking for exceptional leaders to help us do it. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing near-infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Lead & Inspire: Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team driving sourcing strategy and operational execution. Strategic Partnership: Develop close relationships with internal stakeholders to understand product designs, risks, opportunities, and scale the organization with new processes. Drive Results: Develop scalable processes and solve complex supply chain challenges to meet business objectives. Thought Leadership: Solve complex supply chain issues, establish patterns and practices, and provide domain leadership to the team. Balance schedule, risk, costs, and operational tradeoffs with extensive supply chain, operations, and process knowledge. A day in the life: The ideal candidate will have knowledge of sourcing and supply chain strategies, strong program management skills, and a demonstrated ability to build and lead a professional team. 10+ years of experience building and leading large teams and operating in matrixed structures Bachelor's degree or equivalent Experience communicating with multiple stakeholders, including C-level executives and cross-functional teams Experience with strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms and architectures Preferred Qualifications
