AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We keep the cloud running by supporting all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to innovation. Our work involves solving some of the most complex global supply chain challenges—and we are looking for exceptional leaders to help us do it. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with teams across AWS to deliver safety, security, and capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers, while maintaining an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion. Responsibilities

Lead & Inspire: Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team driving sourcing strategy and operational execution. Strategic Partnership: Develop close collaboration with internal stakeholders to understand product designs, risks, opportunities, and scale processes accordingly. Drive Results: Develop scalable processes to solve complex supply chain challenges, manage supplier relationships, and ensure capacity and continuity of supply to meet business outcomes. Thought Leadership: Solve complex supply chain issues, establish patterns and practices, and provide domain leadership to the team, balancing schedule, risk, costs, and tradeoffs. Team & Organization

The role oversees commercial, sourcing, and supply chain strategies for sub-tier components/materials (e.g., ICs, PCBs, interconnects, cables, passives). It partners with engineering, business owners, and suppliers to enable best-in-class sourcing and cost management and to facilitate material plans to meet business demand. Basic Qualifications

10+ years of building and leading large teams and operating in matrixed structures Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Experience communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives, and cross-functional teams Experience in strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms/architectures Preferred Qualifications

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Base pay for this position ranges from $174,300/year to $288,200/year, depending on market location and experience.
