Job Title: Senior Director of Finance Location: Cambridge, MA Job Description The Senior Director of Finance will provide hands-on financial leadership, responsible for establishing budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial models, cap table management, and overseeing the company’s financial operations infrastructure. This role will own FP&A, financial strategy, cap table management, day-to-day bookkeeping, AP, payroll, reconciliations, audits, and purchasing. This position reports to the CEO and will work closely with executive leadership, program heads, and operations teams. Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Cap Table Management Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly/monthly forecasts, and long-range financial planning Partner and collaborate across multiple cross-functional departments, including executive leadership, to provide insight into progress against established budgets and the financial support/guidance necessary to drive alignment on spending and sound decision making Develop, manage, and maintain key organizational and strategic financial models Prepare scenario analyses, board presentations, and strategic models to influence decision-making Drive analytics and modeling for potential business development activities, including scenario planning around different transaction structures Partner with the accounting team on monthly, quarterly and annual closing and reporting processes Oversee cash flow forecasting and partner with accounting to ensure financial reporting accuracy Hands-on cap table management, overseeing annual 409A valuation, and liaising with external parties on all cap table-related transactions Financial Operations (AP, Payroll and accounting) Manage the company’s bookkeeping, AP, payroll, reconciliations, audits, and purchasing Ensure compliance with internal controls and external reporting requirements Drive process improvement and implement systems to streamline financial operations Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required; MBA preferred 7+ years of progressive experience in financial management and operations from within a biotechnology company, with leadership responsibilities CPA or CFA certification is highly valued Demonstrated expertise in FP&A, financial modeling, ERP systems, and reporting tools Experience managing financial operations in a growth-stage or biotech company is strongly preferred Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and communication skills with the ability to partner across functions Hands-on, proactive leader comfortable balancing strategic planning with operational execution Why Join Us
