Cristo Rey Tampa Salesian High School is a Catholic, Salesian college-preparatory school serving students from households with limited resources. Summary of Responsibilities : Provides consultation and support to administrators, teachers, students, parents, and school-based leadership teams to facilitate the implementation of a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and is a member of the Success Team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Observe teachers, conduct formal and informal observations, provide ongoing feedback to teachers on Tier I implementation of research-based MTSS best practices Monitors the fidelity of implementation of MTSS at the school level, including both academic and socio-emotional support systems Constantly tracking, monitoring, and evaluating the empirical outcomes of student support through an analytic approach, and implementing services based on the analysis. Develop and implement programs or personal counseling to promote positive student behavior and improve academic outcomes. Encourage parental involvement in the school and support parent development as it pertains to student academic success and socio-emotional well-being Develop systems supporting high levels of student engagement, belonging, and success in classrooms. Establish and maintain a strong culture of engagement, trust, and support with students, faculty, and parents/families through ongoing, proactive communication. Assistance activities include meeting with students to outline and implement academic, socio-emotional, executive function, self-advocacy, and mental health support plans. Meet with administration to assist in interpreting data and provide other necessary support for implementing a Multi-Tiered System of Supports. Works collaboratively with Instructors in identifying areas of student struggle. Helps plan and attend all MTSS staff development activities for school-based personnel. Maintains cooperative working relationships with parents, staff, and other personnel. Maintains effective and timely written and oral communication with parents, staff, and other school personnel. Maps out resources available to students provided by the school and other local agencies, and is responsible for bringing those resources to bear for the student and their family in an effort to effectively intervene and reverse a downward academic trajectory. Maintains professional competence through professional reading and attending appropriate workshops, courses, and conferences in keeping with the needs of students and in accordance with school guidelines. Develop and lead instructional professional development sessions, including onboarding of new teachers; Collaborate with the Principal and the Success Team to coach/mentor/develop teachers. Collaborate with the Principal and the Academic Accreditation/CRN MER. Collaborate with the College Counselor to implement the school's Standardized testing program. Collaborate with the Registrar to enroll students in school and with the Principal to assign classes. Perform other duties as assigned Qualification & Skills : Commitment to the mission and values of Cristo Rey Tampa Salesian High School, and the ability to articulate the mission 3-5 years of instructional experience Preferred Master\'s in Educational Leadership Excellent written and oral communication skills Knowledge of student information systems – preferred Rediker Desire to work with High School Students and teachers with enthusiasm to further build a positive school culture and community Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced environment, with excellent organizational and administrative skills Cover Letter and resume, a list of three professional references (including email and telephone contact information for each reference), and transcripts from undergraduate and graduate education. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a Level II Background Screening.
