Pediatrix Medical Group at Memorial Hospital – South Bend, IN Join a collaborative, high-performing OB Hospitalist team atMemorial Hospital, part ofBeacon Health System, where exceptional care meets innovation and teamwork. Position Overview:
We are seeking aboard-certified or board-eligible OB Hospitalistto provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric care in a dynamic and supportive environment. This role is ideal for physicians who thrive in a collaborative setting and are passionate about improving maternal and neonatal outcomes. What You’ll Do:
Provide24-hour OB Hospitalist coverage, including OB triage, admissions, inpatient management, and deliveries Work alongside a highly skilled team ofneonatologists,maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialists, andcertified nurse midwives (CNMs) Engage withObstetrix MFM physiciansto manage high-risk antepartum and intrapartum patients Coordinate care withPediatrix neonatologiststo ensure optimal neonatal outcomes Participate inteaching activities, clinical education, and mentorship Contribute toclinical researchandquality improvement initiativesin collaboration with Pediatrix and hospital research teams Program Highlights:
Level III NICUandLevel III Perinatal Center Level II Trauma Center, MedFlight services, and a dedicatedMaternal OB Transport Team 10 modern birthing suites Average of3 deliveries per 24-hour shiftand approximately2,000 annual deliveries Strong collaboration with arobust CNM practiceof 7 providers Why Memorial Hospital & South Bend?
