Practice Overview HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC or BE (FM or IM) Physician to join our Primary Care team in Decatur, IL. The practice is well-established with strong community support and offers a 100% outpatient schedule, Monday-Friday workweek with options for 4 or 5 days, minimal phone call, no holidays or weekends, and robust support staff. We utilize EPIC EMR.
Community Highlights Decatur features Millikin University, a vibrant arts scene, and easy travel options via its own airport and proximity to Champaign and Bloomington. The city offers lakes, public and private schools, and numerous recreational activities.
Position Requirements
Unrestricted Illinois medical license
Board Certified or Board Eligible
Experience in healthcare delivery for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Completion of an accredited residency program
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Controlled Substance license and Federal DEA registration, if applicable
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary guarantee for 2 years
Sign-on bonus, housing incentive, and relocation assistance
Residency stipends for residents
20 days off plus 6 holidays annually
CME reimbursement and days
Potential productivity and quality bonuses
Salary range: $300,000 - $399,406
Educational Qualifications
Clinical doctorate required
Additional Qualifications
Competence in healthcare for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Licensed in Illinois
Maintain BLS and Controlled Substance licenses
