Butler Hospital , one of several delivery networks under the Care New England Health System umbrella, is the major teach affiliate for psychiatry and behavioral health of the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and the flagship hospital and major training site for its Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior , a top ten program in the US. Many physicians and psychologists at Butler are also part of the Brown Institute for Brain Science and participate in exciting clinical research initiatives with this world renowned center for neuroscience.
We are seeking a BE/BC Neurologist to join our robust movement disorder program:
BE/BC Neurologist, Fellowship training in Movement Disorders preferred but not required
Primarily outpatient practice in the Movement Disorders Program (95%) with some effort in the Memory & Aging Program and inpatient consults (2-3 per week).
NO night or weekend call .
Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics, average daily patient census: 11-14
Treatments include deep brain stimulation (DBS), botox injections, LPs
Support for Brown University clinical appointment with opportunity to provide longitudinal supervision and didactic course instruction
EPIC utilized throughout the CNE system
